Boutique Hotelier - Glasgow’s Arthouse Hotel acquired by Singapore real estate company
The former ABode Hotel will now undergo a sensitive refurbishment before the end of 2025
SINGAPORE, Apr. 8 2025 / Boutique Hotelier / - Arthouse Hotel in Glasgow has been acquired and will now undergo an extensive refurbishment to be reimagined as a modern boutique hotel.
The former ABode hotel has been taken over by Singapore-founded real estate investment company RealVantage in a joint venture partnership with Oberland, a London-based real estate investor and asset manager.
The Arthouse Hotel, originally built in 1829 by James Campbell and previously the home of former UK Prime Minister Sir Henry Campbell-Bannerman, will be sensitively restored, with both bedrooms and public areas given a refresh.
The refurbishments are expected to be completed by Q4 2025.
The hotel comprises 59 bedrooms and suites and a Brasserie focused on small plates with ‘eclectic flavours’.
